As a Data Engineer at Catigo, you will be offered a client-facing, exciting, and varied role. An important part is to understand the client's business, operations, and needs – where you play a key role in identifying their BI needs. You will collaborate with other BI specialists, frontend developers, and business consultants to create effective and insightful solutions.

In the role, you will primarily focus on:

• working with databases, SQL, and ETL processes to manage and transform data
• designing, building, and optimizing data warehouses and data flows
• structuring and preparing data for analysis and reporting
• understanding the entire BI process, from data collection to finished analysis
• working in both on-prem and cloud solutions

We believe you have several years of work experience in Business Intelligence with a focus on Data Engineering and Analytics. Catigo highly values that you have your own visions, thoughts, and drive as you will have a great opportunity to influence both your own and Catigo's future development.

To fit and thrive in the role, we believe you have:

• very good knowledge of databases, SQL
• a good understanding of data modeling and ETL processes
• experience with decision support platforms, such as BusinessObjects, Power BI, Qlik, and/or Tableau
• very good knowledge of Swedish and English

If you have experience with AI/ML, this is certainly a merit, but not a requirement. If you are also curious about Snowflake, Azure Fabric, and/or Databricks, that is a plus. At Catigo, you will have the chance to explore new technologies that interest you!
