Your Role

As an engineer at Saab, you and your team will be involved throughout the product lifecycle and be a crucial piece in our journey towards next-generation defense systems.

As a systems engineer, you will have a central role in our projects, where you contribute with a holistic perspective and have the opportunity to analyze and understand customer needs, manage requirements, and document technical specifications to guide the development process. Other tasks include having technical responsibility and being the owner of a system, as well as analyzing functions and performance. You will be an important link between customers and developers, ensuring that the system meets high-quality standards.

You will navigate through many technical areas, and your interfaces within the company will be broad. To assist you, we have structured processes and method descriptions in our internal databases.

Your Profile

To thrive at Saab, you believe in a culture of curiosity, trust, and teamwork. We believe you have a bachelor's and/or master's degree in a technical field, such as engineering physics, computer engineering, or similar. However, the most important thing is that you share our passion for development and exciting new technology!

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest tools and technologies in the industry. We see that you have a strong technical curiosity and an eye for detail. We believe you are stimulated by understanding technically complex solutions while enjoying social interaction. Experience and knowledge in algorithm development, product development, and technical documentation can be advantageous depending on the role. Knowledge and experience with tools such as Doors and Matlab are also meritorious. Our teams are diverse, and we believe that different perspectives and experiences can contribute to creating even better solutions. So regardless of your previous experience and background, you are more than welcome to help shape the technology of the future.
