About the Job

Are you a driven person with a strong interest in business development? We are looking for an engaged business developer who wants to create conditions for companies to start, grow, and develop in Lidköping.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with the municipality's various sectors to promote business development, support their efforts to facilitate an expansive and sustainable business environment, and contribute to a good business climate. To succeed in your assignment, you will also collaborate with local, regional, and national organizations.

You will actively contribute to the joint work of the Business Area, which includes creating meeting places for businesses and developing and driving improvement processes. The focus will be on the development of the city center and increasing knowledge and understanding within the municipality about companies' perspectives, opportunities, and challenges, as well as increasing understanding among companies about what it means to be a municipality and the rules that affect them.

Here you will have the opportunity to join a creative team in the Business Area where we work closely together with each other, with other employees in the Community Sector, and also with various business organizations and partners in Lidköping and Skaraborg.

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop collaborations related to our business organizations with a focus on center development
• Coordinate and support the municipality's sectors to create a good business climate
• Act as a contact person for various collaborations related to skills supply
• Monitor the external environment and participate in exchanges of experience to keep Lidköping at the forefront
• Develop the image of Lidköping together with companies, based on the place brand

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with relevant education and previous experience in strategic and operational work within business development. You are a structured, flexible, and solution-oriented person who makes things happen. You appreciate a varied job at both strategic and operational levels, take your own initiatives, and see opportunities in changes. You are good at quickly building good relationships and communicate in an understandable and clear manner. It is also natural for you to contribute to your own communication on social media. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. We place great importance on your personality and how you can contribute to our team.

Qualifications:

• Education in e.g., business development, project management, social sciences, or other relevant fields
• Experienced in managing multiple parallel projects simultaneously, from start to finish, individually and in collaboration with others
• Good communication skills and experience in creating and developing long-term professional relationships.
• Knowledge of public operations and understanding of political priorities
• Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement
• Experience in working with business development is an advantage
• Driving license B is a requirement
