HR Partner
Property, support and service is VGR's own property manager and service organization.
The mission of the HR unit is to facilitate and create conditions for our managers to work with employee issues in a way that contributes to motivation and job satisfaction in our organization. We in the HR unit have roles such as HR Strategist, HR Recruitment Specialist, HR Partner, HR Coordinator.
The Role of HR Partner
With us, you have the opportunity to be part of an engaged and helpful team; we enjoy working together and have a lot of expertise within the unit. You will function as both operational and strategic support in both daily and long-term work regarding issues such as labor law, health/work environment, competence supply, salary formation, labor law, negotiation, recruitment, and union collaboration.
Here, you will also have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in various development initiatives and focus areas within HR based on interest and needs. As an HR partner, you will work in a broad role across several operational areas where you will have a seat in the management group and provide close support to managers in the area. In this role, you will primarily support the regional coordination and support services. The area consists of services such as finance, payroll management, project management, administration, and facility management services.
The work involves close collaboration with managers, union representatives, employees, and colleagues within the HR unit. The organization within the regional area is complex and under development. You have a clearly consultative role where you guide managers in applying Västra Götaland Region's HR processes. We offer an independent and developing role in an HR unit where you will have the opportunity to drive and develop HR work together with your colleagues.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with an academic education in the HR field and several years of experience in qualified HR work in a larger organization. You are secure in your professional role and are used to working consultatively as support to managers. You possess excellent collaboration skills, find it easy to communicate, and establish trusting relationships. To succeed in the role, you see the big picture, are solution-oriented, and have the ability to structure your work. You should enjoy handling multiple tasks simultaneously and have experience working towards deadlines.
If you have worked in the public sector, preferably in a politically governed organization, it is an advantage. A B driver's license is desirable as travel is required in the position; where possible, we use public transport for travel.
Västra Götaland Region offers flexible working arrangements based on the organization's conditions, and there is the possibility to combine work from our offices and remotely. Placement at the region's house in Gothenburg or Vänersborg.
