Senior Accountant at TF Bank

TF Bank is a fast-growing bank that offers digital consumer credits, deposit services, as well as solutions in e-commerce and card payments across several European countries. With headquarters in Borås and operations in over ten countries, we strive to combine modern technology with local expertise to deliver simple and transparent financial solutions.

We are currently in an exciting growth phase and are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to further strengthen our finance function. The role is flexible and can be tailored to the right candidate, either in one of our subsidiaries or in the parent company, depending on the individual's experience and strengths.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting while contributing to the improvement of our financial processes. The role includes both operational and strategic tasks and is crucial for supporting the organization's continued growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in/oversee the work on monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Manage ongoing bookkeeping including reconciliations, accruals, and year-end closing.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
• Provide support and guidance to more junior colleagues in the finance team.

Qualifications and Experience

• University or college degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; additional certifications (e.g., certified auditor) are a plus.
• At least five years of experience in qualified accounting, preferably within banking, finance, or other regulated industries.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting (e.g., IFRS or K3).
• Experience working in ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics) and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex accounting and reporting tasks.
