At Skånetrafiken, we are about 450 dedicated employees. The Business Area (BA) bus, with our 30 employees, is responsible for bus traffic in Skåne with an annual budget of approximately 3.5 billion. All traffic is procured and operated by various transport companies on contract.

The Follow-up Unit is tasked with, with the customer in focus and with great business acumen, following up and developing our bus traffic agreements in Skåne. Our overarching purpose is to enable and ensure full potential and effectiveness in our agreements, business development, goal fulfillment, and better quality for customers through active follow-up, management, and analysis. The unit consists of five contract managers, two business analysts, and a financial controller who reports to the unit manager. You will be part of a social group with a great dynamic in a workplace with good opportunities for development and influence.

Through our business and in collaboration with our transport companies, we, as a large client, have a significant impact on both the industry and the development of public transport in general!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Contract Manager, you will have an exciting and varied role with significant personal responsibility. You will work with both smaller contract issues and larger negotiations and projects that drive the business forward. In your work, you will find yourself in the intersection of contract management, strategic procurement/follow-up, business development, and project management. You will have overall contract responsibility for a supplier.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Supplier responsibility for follow-up, development, and commercial issues, as well as being the transport company's contact regarding all business matters.
• Contract management such as application, interpretation, negotiation, amendments, and additions.
• Lead and coordinate the work of developing three-year business plans and activities that drive towards our common goals of increased market share and more satisfied customers.
• Follow up on KPIs and identify and drive improvements that create both business and societal benefits.
• Lead cross-functional business groups and meetings, such as monthly business meetings and strategic development meetings.

In this role, you ensure that we use our tax funds in the best possible way and that we receive the service we have procured. In close collaboration between Skånetrafiken and the transport company, you drive the development of the business to achieve the greatest possible customer benefit and effect in our agreements. You work in accordance with our contract management model, where the follow-up process is an important part of your systematic approach to management and quality assurance. Your input for future business is valuable for us to develop our operations forward.

Your placement is at our newly built and fresh headquarters at the central station in Hässleholm, but you also have the opportunity to work from home part-time. You can easily travel to Hässleholm by train or bus from all over Skåne.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has experience in driving commercial issues and developing commercial relationships. You have previously worked with contract follow-up, contract management, and/or procurement either as a client or supplier. You have a higher education degree in economics, procurement, and/or purchasing or law, or alternatively some other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent. To be eligible for the position, good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are also required, as well as the ability to present results to a group.

It is advantageous if you also have experience in:

• working as a client of complex services
• negotiating contracts
• contract management and business development
• managing outsourced operations
• dependencies and collaborations in supply chains.
