Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the strategic governance of the administration! As a management controller, you will work together with the administration's operations and management.

Your main task will be to coordinate, plan, and follow up on the administration's goal and budget work. You will be the lead editor for planning and follow-up documents and prepare matters for the political committee.

Your role includes developing and improving strategic governance through qualified decision support and presenting this to the management. You will be responsible for coordinating and developing the administration's analytical work and ensuring that statistical data is of high quality. This also includes coordinating the development of the administration's decision support (QlikSense) together with the digitalization unit.

You will lead and coordinate cross-administrative development assignments and act as support and a sounding board for the department head and the department's management team. Systematic monitoring of the external environment is a natural part of your daily work.

When needs arise, you will conduct other analyses, follow-ups, and investigations. You will also participate in various internal and external working groups.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a university degree at least at the bachelor's level in a social science field, such as political science, public administration, or economics. You have experience working with governance and management processes in the public sector and have solid experience in planning, follow-up, and analytical work. Experience in editorial work, such as writing decision support documents for political committees, is a requirement. Knowledge of trend and environmental analysis as well as data-driven analysis is particularly meritorious.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a very good ability to plan, organize, and follow up on work. You can connect and explain complex issues in an understandable way and have strong presentation skills for different target groups. You are also skilled at leading others without having personnel responsibility and have good digital competence.

As a person, you are structured, goal-oriented, and responsible. You are self-driven and proactive with the ability to meet deadlines. You are communicative and pedagogical, conveying core messages clearly and facilitating decision-making. We also see that you are curious and seek creative solutions by challenging old ways of working. You find it easy to collaborate, engage others, and identify value-creating aspects in development and analytical work. Furthermore, you thrive in a partially cyclical structured work environment but can easily adapt to changing conditions.
