About the position

We at Olivia are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant part-time or as a substitute when needed for our client in central Växjö.

  • Part-time position: every other weekend from 09:00 to 16:00
  • As a substitute, working hours may vary over day, evening, and night (waiting time may occur), and you will step in during illness or absences.

Start date is according to agreement, and we hope you can begin training immediately.

About the client

The client is an active woman in her 60s with an interest in flowers, cooking, and shopping in the city. She needs your help as an assistant in her daily life due to paralysis.

The tasks are as follows:

  • Assist with daily routines such as household chores
  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
  • Assist with training
  • Handle aids such as ceiling lifts and electric wheelchairs

We are looking for someone who is attentive, responsible, solution-focused, and engaged. You are an empathetic person and can easily understand other people's life situations. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

As a personal assistant, you will have a unique opportunity to help others achieve a smoother and more meaningful everyday life.

Requirements:

  • Previous care experience
  • Fluent in Swedish

 Employment rate: 1 part-time, 1 substitute as needed

Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

Things to consider before your application:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present a valid ID and submit a personal certificate as well as any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. 

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
