As part of Växjö municipality and Växjö's public housing company, we take an active environmental and social responsibility and are an important part of sustainable development in our city. With a focus on our tenants, our employees, and a sustainable future for the entire municipality, we create quality of life and security.
Our mission is to provide housing for the residents of Växjö. The mission is divided into several different goals and guidelines that are continuously updated.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an activity leader, you will have the opportunity to lead, inspire, and create activities that both challenge and engage. It’s about creating a wonderful atmosphere where everyone feels included and motivated to give their best. You will be creative, take responsibility, and develop your leadership while having fun and making a positive difference for others. You will ensure that activities are carried out in a structured and efficient manner, while also keeping your team engaged and motivated to work towards common goals. You create a good working environment by being attentive and providing constructive feedback to your colleagues, ensuring that everyone feels involved in the work.
What you will do:
- Lead and organize staff and activities in a structured way while ensuring everyone has fun.
- Be a role model who creates an engaged and motivated group.
- Ensure that activities are carried out safely and efficiently, focusing on everyone enjoying themselves and feeling included.
- Provide feedback and contribute to a good environment where everyone feels seen and heard.
The position:
- Working hours: Weeks 25-30 (June-July 2026), scheduled weekdays afternoon/evening shifts (23 hours/week), plus time for planning and check-ins with group leaders (about 5 hours/week). Opportunity to be involved in activities during other school breaks, such as Easter and autumn breaks.

- You have experience leading other people.
- You enjoy working with children and young people.
- You are solution-oriented and see every challenge as an opportunity to grow.
- You are flexible and attentive, ensuring that everyone receives the attention and support they need to achieve their goals.
- You are confident in making decisions, even when the situation is unexpected, and do so in a respectful manner so that everyone feels safe and included.
