About the Position

We at Olivia are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant on an as-needed basis for our client residing in Åryd outside of Växjö.

As a substitute on an as-needed basis, you will work during the absence of regular assistants due to vacation or illness. To be considered for this position, you need to be able to work flexible hours on weekdays and weekends.

Requirements for this position include having a manual driver's license and access to your own car.

The working hours are scheduled as follows on weekdays and weekends:

• 08:00-22:00

• 22:00-08:00 (awake night)

Start date will be agreed upon, and we hope you can begin training immediately.

About the Client

The client is an active 33-year-old woman with an interest in music and film. Our client has a complete spinal cord injury and is also hearing impaired. Various aids such as a lift and a breathing machine are available at home.

The tasks include:

• Support with daily routines and household chores

• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

• Social interaction

• Practical support in daily activities

As a person, you are empathetic, socially aware, solution-focused, proactive, and reliable. You have a sense of intuition and can read situations well.

The chemistry between you and the client is crucial and may be the most important factor in the final selection.

Requirements:

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

• Non-smoker

• Not allergic to pets, a dog may be present in the home

• Manual driver's license to drive the client's car.

• Physically strong, manual transfers and lifting are required.

Start Date:  Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. 

Scope: 1 position as a substitute on an as-needed basis

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present valid ID and submit a personal certificate as well as any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. 

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
