JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Älgstigen is a residence with 6 apartments and 1 short-term apartment for adults with mental health issues. The operation is staffed around the clock and works with individually tailored support based on current legislation (LSS/SoL). The work is based on a low-arousal approach and a person-centered attitude.

As a care assistant, your role includes providing support and care in daily life to the residents of the facility. The tasks include:

• Support in daily activities and social interactions
• Care work such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals
• Medication management as delegated
• Documentation according to current routines and legislation
• Participation in planning and implementation of individual interventions

The advertisement includes 4 permanent positions, which means you will have the opportunity to help create the best conditions for our residents together with your colleagues. The positions involve work during the day, evening, and weekends according to a schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying should have training as a care assistant, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, and an ability to work professionally and structured.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in social psychiatry or LSS, are familiar with documentation, and have a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who has a professional and respectful demeanor, good collaboration skills, and is responsible. The work is done both independently and in a team where you collaborate with colleagues as well as with other actors. Therefore, it is very important that you can work independently while also having good teamwork skills. You are confident in your professional role, attentive, solution-focused, and contribute to a good work climate.
