We in the Municipal Rehabilitation team are looking for rehabilitation assistants for our district operations. We currently have 4 rehabilitation assistants, 22 occupational therapists, and 20 physiotherapists in varying ages with experience ranging from 1 to 35 years in the profession. We are a good team that supports each other, and there is always someone to discuss your questions with.

As a rehabilitation assistant in Municipal Rehabilitation, your tasks will consist of assignments and delegation from occupational therapists and physiotherapists where you will perform training interventions and assistive device assessments for patients in regular and special housing. The work also involves guidance and support for patients, relatives, and care staff. You will work in a team with close collaboration with occupational therapists and physiotherapists and will also cooperate with other care staff.

As a rehabilitation assistant, you will be part of a good team with many different professions around you. Here we collaborate in various ways to meet the individual in their specific life situation, and we do it with a lot of joy and creativity. After the summer, we hope you have gained a good insight into how an occupational therapist or physiotherapist works. Furthermore, we hope you feel secure in your future professional role and that you want to return to us for a potential future employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone studying to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist or has experience working in rehabilitation. We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills, a good pedagogical approach, and flexibility. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as basic computer skills. A driver's license is required for the position.
