JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a care assistant for LSS-children at our short-term facilities Wälludden and Hamplyckan. Here, you will work with colleagues towards the target group of children and young people with diagnoses within the autism spectrum.

Working at Wälludden and Hamplyckan's short-term stay means a change of environment and recreation for the individual, as well as providing relief for relatives in caregiving work. As a care assistant, you will work to create a pleasant environment for the children and young people during their short-term stay. You will strengthen the individual's abilities, and the support provided will be both practical and pedagogical in nature. The support given is based on participation and is tailored individually in an implementation plan. Your tasks will include social and safety-promoting interactions, care, as well as cleaning and household tasks.

The work demands high levels of both independence and teamwork; you will work independently to support the individual in various situations, as well as together with other colleagues to create a good short-term stay for all children and young people.

The job includes some administrative tasks.

Working hours are scheduled for afternoons/evenings, weekends, and some daytime hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a recognized education in nursing programs, child and leisure programs, or other educational or behavioral science training. Experience working with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities is desirable.

You are a person who naturally meets others with warmth and respect and thrives in a role where your work contributes to the well-being of others.

We also expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish.
