The unit consists of:

• 1 Unit Manager
• 2 Senior Social Workers
• 7 Social Workers for Investigation/Reception
• 4 Social Workers focusing on Child Social Work
• 2 Foster Care Social Workers

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a dedicated social worker for our reception/investigation. The work involves, among other things, receiving and handling reports and applications, conducting risk assessments, and making initial assessments according to applicable legislation. It also includes conducting some investigations. You will provide advice, information, and consultation to both the municipality's residents and partners.

In this role, you will work both alongside experienced colleagues in the organization and independently, which requires you to be confident in your professional role and have the ability to make quick and well-founded decisions. The reception is the face of social services. This may involve attending meetings and conducting outreach efforts, such as visiting schools to inform about social services' work and responsibilities. The job also includes developing and strengthening collaboration with other actors around children, such as schools, preschools, and healthcare.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and several years of experience in public authority work. You should be well-versed in case management and documentation according to the regulations governing our operations. You are comfortable making decisions, prioritizing, and promptly handling tasks.
