Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, stable, and understands that as a personal assistant, you are a bit more in the background and are there as a helping hand in various moments. It is also important that you are attentive and accommodating.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 60s living in Linneryd

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• is comfortable accompanying the client to church

• is non-smoking

• can tolerate pets as there is a cat in the home

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have a B driver's license

• have experience with MS

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 80%. The job involves work during the day, evening, and night (active night) on weekdays and weekends. The working hours are varied and are from 08:00-23:00, 14:00-23:00, 23:00-08:00. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is according to collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
