Care Assistant needed for a fun and social girl in Karlstad!

We are looking for a trained care assistant who wants to be part of a safe and engaged team around a young woman with a big heart and a twinkle in her eye. 

She lives in her own nice apartment and is looking for someone who wants to be a part of her everyday life – a reliable and helpful friend who supports her in living a rich and independent life.

About the role

As an assistant, you will support her in all aspects of daily life. 

She has epilepsy and is tracheostomized, uses a cough machine, and PEG. Your tasks will include both medical and everyday support – everything from monitoring her breathing, using the cough machine, PEG feeding, to being her arms and legs. Equally important is being her voice, which means you must be able to write and speak Swedish fluently as we document the client's daily life.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being social and is flexible – your presence will be an important part of her safety and joy in daily life.

Who are you

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and has experience with tracheostomy, cough machines, and PEG. You have a big heart and a calm, empathetic demeanor. You are attentive, can take initiative, and enjoy creating a pleasant atmosphere at home. You are smoke-free!

Personality chemistry is also important, so we are looking for someone who is positive, patient, and looks forward to becoming a significant part of our client's life. It is essential that you are engaged and confident in your role.

Employment rate: We are looking for both part-time and full-time positions

Salary: The hourly wage is fixed according to agreement, and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
