JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference in other people's lives? Are you a trained nursing assistant who is passionate about supporting, guiding, and motivating? We are now looking for an engaged support assistant for Nyhagsgatan's group and service housing.

At the residence, you will meet a varied group of users with different diagnoses and disabilities, making the workplace both dynamic and full of opportunities for personal and professional development. Here, you will work in a wonderful team and contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life for our users.

Safety, stability, and a genuine desire to work with people are important to us. We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, curious, and positive, and who can both collaborate and make independent decisions. Patience and a sense of responsibility are important parts of your work.

As a support assistant, you will, among other things:

motivate, guide, and support users in their daily lives
plan and implement meaningful activities
collaborate with colleagues and other actors to see the whole picture of the user's needs
create a safe, secure, and developing environment for all users

We work with low-arousal responses and use AAC (alternative and augmentative communication) as well as other tools such as visual support to meet each user's unique needs. Our goal is to create a safe and developing environment where each user's strengths are at the center.

The position is a waking night service. We would like you to start at the end of January 2025, but the start date and extent will be agreed upon together.

Experience in disability care, low-arousal responses, sign language communication, and a B driver's license are meritorious.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant.
Experience in disability care, low-arousal responses, sign language communication, and a B driver's license are meritorious.
