Team Leader for Field Secretaries and Leisure Leaders

We are looking for an engaged team leader for field secretaries and leisure leaders!

Do you want to make a difference for the youth in the municipality? We are now seeking a driven and secure team leader who can lead, support, and develop our team of field secretaries and leisure leaders within the preventive measures section of the citizen administration.

With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to positive community development and create meaningful activities as well as promoting and preventive measures for children and young people.

The Citizen Administration consists of seven sections, where Preventive Measures is one, and there are 16 employees in the section. As the section is growing, a decision has been made to expand the operations with a team leader. The section consists of leisure leaders, a counselor at the youth reception, mediators, and TSI coordinators (Early and Coordinated Interventions). The team leader reports to the section manager and is responsible for the field operations and leisure centers. There are five field secretaries, and the field operations also include youth coaching assignments. There are eight leisure leaders working at four different leisure centers around the municipality.

As a team leader, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the team's work, focusing on creating a safe and developing environment for both employees and the young people we meet. You serve as an important link between the operations and the organization's management and actively work to plan, follow up, and develop the operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support field secretaries and leisure leaders in their daily work, both in groups and individually.
  • Coordinate and plan the team's work, including scheduling and resource management.
  • Collaborate with schools, social services, non-profit organizations, police, and other community-critical actors.
  • Participate in the implementation of activities and projects.
  • Follow up and report on the results and goal fulfillment of the operations.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the operations together with the employees.
  • Participate in development work in both the section and the administration together with other team leaders and the section manager.

Qualifications

  • You need to have post-secondary education focused on children and youth. Experience in similar tasks is an advantage.
  • Have solid experience working with youth in supportive or preventive roles.
  • Experience in leadership and coordination.
  • Be communicative, cooperative, and accustomed to working with various actors.
  • Be a structured and secure leader with a good ability to make decisions.

The work is primarily scheduled during the day, but some evening and weekend work may occur.
