JOB DESCRIPTION

Your main task as a leisure leader will be to work as a resource in the classroom and at the leisure center. You lead and organize the work to create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect, collaboration, and positive expectations.

The content of the operations is compiled based on democratic values where the students' wishes for content are taken into account. The students should clearly know what you expect of them, and the work with each individual student should be based on professional relationships. To ensure that the students' everyday lives follow a common thread, collaboration between school and leisure center is important.

You are active in collegial learning to exchange knowledge and develop leisure activities and school. You work with various IT tools together with the students in teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply should have a two-year leisure leader education from Folk High School or a bachelor's degree in public health pedagogy (180 hp/120p). We want you to have worked as a leisure leader, preferably with students aged 6-9 years. If you have leadership experience from associations or experience from working in educational activities, it is an advantage.

You are good at meeting children and students at the level they are at, which means you are flexible, and your ability to change planning and capture needs in the moment will come in handy. You advocate for democratic values and assume that all children and students are equal. You also need to be able to support students in managing conflicts that arise.

Of course, you have a good ability to use digital technology in your work for information retrieval, planning, and communication. The role requires you to have communication skills, attentiveness, and collaboration skills to create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, guardians, external actors, and others. We want you to have knowledge and interest in different cultures. Good initiative is required, and you should be able to complete what you start. You need to be able to be physically active with the students.

When we want to offer you the position, you will need to provide a police record extract for us to be able to employ you, according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act if you are offered employment.
