Specialist in Legislation and Quality Administration

Your Mission

In this role, you will work extensively with the systems available within the quality department, both with administration and system development. You will be part of the digital transformation journey taking place in the department.

As a specialist in legislation and quality administration, your mission is also to ensure that new and existing products are correctly labeled according to food and marketing legislation, regulations, and customer requirements. You will monitor and interpret new and amended laws regarding environment, quality, food safety, and labeling, and disseminate this information to key personnel within the organization. An important part of your role is to participate in the approval process of packaging materials, coordinate other product information, and stay updated on new legislation and authority interpretations.

You will act as an advisor and business partner to the marketing department, product development, production, quality department, and purchasing organization. You will be responsible for coordinating, project managing, and implementing labeling projects, as well as being responsible for Scan's labeling handbook and participating in labeling councils. Your role will also involve reviewing ingredient lists, participating in various labeling councils, and being a referral instance during legislative and labeling changes. Additionally, you will be involved in training initiatives and crisis management.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic background in food or equivalent work experience. We prefer that you have a strong interest in system support and data management. Experience in system administration related to quality is an advantage. Since the role involves some administration and many contacts, you need to have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We place great value on personal qualities and are willing to assist with development/training if there are any knowledge areas that need strengthening. As a person, you are proactive, meticulous, and structured. You also have good communication skills and find it easy to collaborate with others.

Travel may be required in this position.
