Do you want to contribute to driving successful projects within a global organization at the forefront of sustainable technology and innovation? The Large Motors and Generators division is now looking for a dedicated and solution-oriented project controller to join our team in Västerås.

About the role:
As a project controller, you will work in a dynamic and international environment where you will support project managers and control teams to ensure the financial success of projects. You will collaborate closely with several functions and be a key player in driving projects forward – from planning to execution and follow-up.

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinate and participate in regular project reviews and prepare and document these.
• Monitor and optimize the financial status of projects, including cost control, cash flow, revenues, and profit margins.
• Support the project team with financial reporting, budget tracking, and analysis.
• Identify opportunities and risks in projects and ensure that action plans are implemented on time.
• Perform project-related transactions in SAP and ensure that processes are followed according to internal controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in controlling and financial processes.
• Assist with month-end closing, invoicing, and cash management.
• Participate in claims management and insurance matters as needed.

Your profile:
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a solution-oriented mindset, as well as an interest in developing within project controlling. You enjoy working independently but are also a team player who collaborates easily in a cross-functional environment.

Requirements:

• Degree in economics, finance, or equivalent.
• Experience with Excel and basic financial analysis.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to structure and manage multiple parallel projects.

Meritorious:

• Experience in project controlling.
• Previous work with SAP or similar systems.
• Experience from industrial projects or financial reporting.
