Are you ready to lead our documentation team as Documentation Engineering Lead in Västerås?

Your future role:

We are looking for a driven and structured individual who wants to take responsibility for coordinating the delivery of technical documentation, both from internal and external suppliers, and ensuring that we deliver according to project plans and customer requirements. You will report to Piotr Okeli (Documentation manager).

You will work on various projects and be responsible for reviewing documentation in both Swedish and English. It is important that you have knowledge of maintenance documentation, system descriptions, troubleshooting instructions, and driver manuals. You also need to be able to read drawings and spare parts information.

The position includes:

• Create a plan for resources, allocate tasks within the team, and monitor costs.
• Collect technical information from system development, subcontractors, customers, field engineers, and support.
• Process and organize the technical information to make it clear.
• Plan and ensure that we produce advanced technical user information, and follow up on progress.
• Work to improve maintenance information through collaboration between different departments to enhance the user experience.
• Adapt documentation based on feedback to make it more useful for end users.
• Monitor schedules and manage changes that may affect user information.
• Follow our review processes, including internal control and technical review.
• Lead projects in vehicle development or modification and ensure that documentation is delivered on time.

As a person, you are used to being the linchpin with a good ability to collaborate and communicate within the team and with external parties.

You create clear plans and organize resources to ensure that documentation is delivered according to deadlines and requirements. By collaborating effectively with different departments and external partners, you drive projects forward. Your commitment as a leader inspires the team and creates a positive work environment where everyone feels involved and motivated to achieve common goals.

To succeed in the role:

• Relevant education in technical documentation, information design, engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent work experience deemed equivalent.
• Experience working with technical documentation, project management, or related roles, preferably in the engineering or automotive industry.
• Documented experience in leading projects, especially in connection with documentation processes or development projects.
• Knowledge of working with modularized information and Content Management System (CMS).
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, both in writing and verbally, to review and adapt documentation.
