The Assignment
As a payroll administrator, you are responsible for ensuring the correct and efficient handling of payroll administration for all employees. You work closely with the group leader and colleagues in the payroll office to administer salary payments, reporting, and support for employees. Your role includes handling salary-related matters, expenses, advances, and system administration. Together with colleagues in the payroll office, you support the authority in matters related to salary and other compensations.
The assignment involves work with the entire payroll management up to the payroll run (e.g., travel expenses, corrections, driving logs, various leaves, benefits, certificates, and controls).
Responsibilities
In this position, the following (but not limited to) tasks may occur;
- process and verify payroll data
- prepare payroll lists
- generate reports and statistics
- account for taxes and employer contributions
- compile time and absence reports
- respond to employee inquiries (e.g., about salary and vacation leave)
- make calculations and corrections
- daily management and supervision of operations
Who Are You?
To be qualified for the position, you meet the following requirements:
- Vocational education in payroll or similar
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience as a payroll administrator
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good knowledge of payroll systems
- Good knowledge of financial systems
- Good knowledge of collective agreements
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with the Personec P payroll system
You Are Offered
A full-time 100% consultancy assignment. The assignment will start immediately or by 2025-02-10 at the latest and is expected to last for 6 months, with a possible extension of 3 months. For the first month, the consultant should be present 100% at the authority's office in Norrköping, then there is the opportunity to work remotely approximately one (1) - two (2) days a week if the work allows.
