Your tasks
As an innovator, you strive to be a leading force for change and development to ensure that Norrköping is ready to meet future challenges through innovation. You do this by closely collaborating with the municipality's operations, where you understand their needs for innovation work and take strategic initiatives to strengthen innovation capacity and meet future challenges sustainably.
To succeed in the role, you continuously work with development processes, scan the environment, spot trends, and brainstorm new ideas. You then process these ideas by refining, grouping, testing, and evaluating them. Furthermore, you present the ideas in a visually accessible way, tailored to the audience.
Norrköping's Innovation Lab is a relatively new department, and we are constantly working to develop ourselves and our operations. In this role, you are expected to contribute to the development and shape both our common mission and your role.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a higher education in a relevant field, such as innovation, design, technology, community development, business development, or another higher education that the employer deems equivalent.
You have experience in driving innovation processes and development initiatives, preferably in complex organizations or the public sector.
You have experience and are skilled at clarifying ideas through visual representations, such as models, sketches, diagrams, or storyboards. Furthermore, you have experience leading workshops, presentations, and creative meetings.
As a person, you are attentive and have an easy time building relationships and creating trust with those you meet. You see collaboration as the key to succeeding in your mission but can set boundaries when the work requires it. Furthermore, you have a good ability to communicate clearly and engagingly.
You have the ability to think strategically and translate that into concrete work. You easily absorb complex information, analyze it, identify the cause of any problems, and suggest several practical solutions. You consider the best interests of the entire operation and/or organization in your work.
Moreover, you are creative and have an easy time coming up with new perspectives, ideas, and ways of thinking.
Welcome with your application!
