For one of our clients, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now looking for a program manager for cost reduction for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs, with a good chance of extension. We apply ongoing selection, which means that the assignment may be filled earlier than the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a program manager for cost reduction, you will work closely with the head of BE and the management team to plan, manage, and follow up on the cost reduction program. You will support project managers and leaders in developing business cases for projects, prepare status updates, and present to the local management team.

Main Responsibilities:

Set goals for the business regarding cost reduction and follow up with the management team and other stakeholders.
In collaboration with service functions, identify new cost savings.
Assist in calculating savings/business cases for improvements and projects.
Ensure that savings are updated in the One PUMA Web system, both by updating it yourself and by other parts of the business.
Support in portfolio management of our business development projects.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

A university degree.
Experience in compiling data and presentations and presenting them.
Experience in compiling and analyzing data.
Experience working in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working with business intelligence, e.g., Power BI.
A basic understanding of how to develop a business case.
Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
An understanding of processes within a similar industry.
