Your Role

We are looking for a Supplier Performance Manager who will play a key role in ensuring high quality and delivery performance from our supplier base within procurement, Saab Aeronautics. Your main task is to ensure good quality and delivery performance from suppliers through close collaboration with international suppliers and cross-functional Saab Supplier Teams.

Internally, you will collaborate with Sourcing and Supply Managers to support strategies and goals regarding quality, delivery, and business relationships for the suppliers you are responsible for. You have good collaboration skills and work closely with our design engineers to create a deep understanding of the complexity of parts and components as well as their associated production processes. You work closely with Saab's quality representatives to identify and drive corrective actions against our supplier base, all aimed at creating a disruption-free production within our own operations.

Externally, you serve as a vital link between Saab and our supplier base. You ensure that suppliers understand our technical and general requirements and have the prerequisites needed to meet them. You proactively work with suppliers to improve quality and delivery performance to prevent deviations. You evaluate suppliers' processes with a focus on planning, production, and risk management to ensure they have the capacity and capability to meet our requirements and expectations. You support suppliers in identifying risks and improvement potential to enable risk elimination and continuous improvements. For suppliers with greater quality and delivery challenges, you work on overall improvement measures from a medium- and long-term perspective. If necessary, you also support short-term deviation management, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in and experience in areas such as production, design, quality, or procurement. You are a good communicator with excellent skills in both Swedish and English, which allows you to collaborate and communicate smoothly in various contexts.

We seek someone with 2-5 years of experience in supplier development or a background as an engineer. Alternatively, you have equivalent experience from technical or production-oriented organizations. Your passion for technology, quality, and production processes drives you to constantly seek improvements. You have the ability to build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers, create engagement and transparency, and be encouraging, challenging, and persistent in your support of their process development. You are analytical and can identify underlying problems by analyzing deviations. You have a sharp eye for detail while also seeing the big picture. You are flexible and take great personal responsibility for planning and execution.

You thrive in an international environment and are comfortable in both production environments and management contexts. Traveling to suppliers in different countries is a natural part of the job, and you see it as a positive challenge. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the role.

We consider it an asset if you have one or more of the following qualifications:

• Engineering degree or other technical education
• Experience in quality assurance / supplier development
• Knowledge of production processes
• Experience in procurement / purchasing
• Experience with quality tools

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
