Job Description

As a controller in healthcare, you will work as strategic and operational support in financial matters to operational and unit managers and other result-responsible personnel. An important part is to actively participate in the analysis of the operations and to make the analysis understandable for non-economists as well as continuously communicate financial follow-ups in a simple way. You will work proactively, identify and prepare issues within the financial area for the financial manager at the center and management, contribute to the development of the operations and achievement of goals by linking production data with financial results.

Within the assignment, you will work with financial planning, budgeting, and follow-ups, investment and price calculations in close collaboration with the operations. You will regularly visit the operations to gain operational knowledge, work together with different professions, and participate in joint activities for competence development and environmental monitoring together with your controller colleagues.

Work Group

You will be employed at the regional management office and belong to a unit consisting of about 25 controllers who are placed in production units within healthcare. We need to recruit a controller based in Linköping, but we also have administrative offices in Norrköping and Motala where you can work part of the time.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained economist or has other relevant education combined with experience that the employer deems suitable for the position.

You have good knowledge of accounting and the ability to analyze and explain financial information. It is advantageous if you have previously worked as a controller and supported managers in financial analysis. You also have very good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, ensure that the message gets through, remind, and follow up. You see yourself as an important part of the larger context with a commitment that challenges and contributes to solutions.

This is a permanent position based at the regional management office/economic unit of Healthcare. A probationary period may apply. The assignment is full-time with a start date according to agreement.
