About the Role

Are you an experienced mechanical designer looking to work with the latest technologies in product development? Do you want to create solutions that truly make a difference? AFRY in Linköping is now seeking someone who wants to be part of our growing team and contribute to exciting projects where technology, innovation, and sustainability are in focus.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work on varied projects, both on-site with clients and in-house assignments. You will be part of a team characterized by creativity and collaboration, delivering innovative solutions to our clients across various industries.

In this role, you will work with mechanical design and development from idea to finished product, including modeling and simulation in modern CAD tools. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and clients to create solutions that meet high demands for functionality, quality, and sustainability.

Requirements

You are a brave and dedicated team player with experience in mechanical development. As a person, you think big, are fearless, and curious about new and exciting challenges. You also enjoy sharing ideas and collaborating with clients and colleagues.

To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have:

• several years of experience in mechanical design
• a relevant technical degree at the university level or equivalent, preferably in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or product development
• experience with at least one CAD tool (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, Creo)
• 2+ years of experience in product development within mechanics
• a valid driver's license (B)
• Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken
