For one of our clients, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now looking for an Electronics Designer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment where development opportunities are abundant. This is initially a consulting assignment for approximately 6 months via Unik Resurs with a good chance of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

Electrical Designer Control Equipment and Measurement

An overview of your day

You will work on a project basis and be part of a larger team consisting of electrical designers and sub-project leaders. You will support both assembly and the workplace, and your work will also involve some contact with subcontractors, purchasing, and the sales organization. Together, we operate in various interfaces where we are expected to be active and open to change and development.

How you will make a difference:

You will be responsible for design work within the technical area of control equipment and measurement.
You create procurement documentation according to the project plan.
You are responsible for layouts and internal cabling.
You understand the requirements according to ATEX and can validate our explosion-proof circuits.
You monitor project costs and work strategically to streamline our working methods to ensure our market position.

About the team:

You will be part of a team of approximately 20 employees. We are a fantastic group that values community and good collaboration. Even if you are new, you are never alone! Within the Gas Services division, we offer energy solutions with zero or low emissions based on our gas turbines gathered under one roof, along with steam turbines and generators. Through service, modernization, and digitalization of the delivered fleet, we create opportunities for reduced climate impact.

Your Profile

What you bring:

You have either a relevant university degree or are an experienced high school engineer with several years of experience in the field.
You are innovative and inspiring with an interest in technology.
You have good communication skills and appreciate collaboration with others.
You are driven and take an active responsibility for planning your time and work.
Your possible experience with COMOS/SAP will be very valuable.
