We are now looking for laboratory technicians for the Process Laboratory who want to work with us during the summer of 2025.

This position runs from early June to mid/late August. You will work with a team of 14 people, and your working hours will be scheduled during the day between 7 AM and 4 PM.

What does the Process Laboratory do?

The Process Laboratory plays a central role in ensuring production quality and environmental control. We conduct advanced chemical analyses on process liquids, wastewater, and pulp, as well as monitor and calibrate our online instruments used in the factory. Through careful sampling and analysis, we help optimize production and reduce our environmental impact.

Job Description

As a laboratory technician in our Process Laboratory, you will work with sampling in a factory environment and perform chemical analyses on process liquids, wastewater, and pulp. You will also participate in the control and calibration of our online instruments and conduct environmental sampling. In this role, you will contribute to the careful monitoring of emissions to air and water and help maintain quality in production.

Areas of work include:

  • Analytical Technician: Performs routine analyses in the laboratory and sampling in the factory, including environmental analyses of wastewater. You will work with chemical analyses such as titration, pH, atomic absorption, as well as mass analyses like dry matter, filtration, and microscopy.
  • Service Technician for Instruments: Responsible for the control and calibration of online instruments. You will perform laboratory analyses of brightness, concentration, and opacity on pulp and collect pulp samples in the factory. Heavy lifting may occur.

Qualifications

  • Completed high school education with passing grades, preferably with a scientific or technical focus.
  • Driver's license B.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Post-secondary education with a scientific focus on chemistry or environmental science is an advantage.
  • Experience in laboratory work is also considered a significant advantage.
