Fosie Prison is located on the outskirts of Malmö and was built in 1986. Fosie is a level 2 security prison with space for 173 men, where approximately 300 employees and 10 managers manage, lead, and develop the operations. The operations are in constant change and have been expanded several times over the years, including establishing places for particularly resource-intensive inmates (SRI) and most recently through a newly opened modular building.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This advertisement is aimed at those who have completed the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's basic training, have good knowledge of the prison law, and experience in documenting, gathering information, and making decisions related to legal support.

Together with a group of administrators, you will, in collaboration with your colleagues, be responsible for processing visit and phone permits where you will both make and communicate decisions regarding clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you are stable and quality-conscious. The work requires that you have good administrative skills. Stressful situations will arise where you are expected to remain calm and secure, be helpful, service-oriented, and contribute to a good working environment. You have the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish as the work involves drafting decisions and documentation. Since the administrative processing is part of the legal process, you must be meticulous, structured, and well-organized.

We are looking for someone who has:

• completed upper secondary education or other training combined with experience deemed relevant by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• work experience that includes complex administrative tasks related to legislation relevant to the operations
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• good data/IT skills

It is an advantage if you have:

• completed the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's basic training with a passing result
• experience with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's client administrative systems
• internal training relevant to the position
• experience with documentation in Platina
• a B driver's license
