We are looking for a junior employee for our wholesale office for the summer of 2025. The work is scheduled for Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. You are expected to work from the first half of June until around mid-August – exact working hours will be agreed upon. You should be currently enrolled or have completed a high school program focused on natural sciences, technology, or economics.

Job Responsibilities

The position includes various types of tasks, and the focus will depend on the company's needs and your abilities.

Some of the tasks that may be relevant:

Maintenance of the B2B webshop

Maintenance of records in the accounting software

Order administration

Compilation of information (often in Excel)

Contact via email and phone with salespeople and customers, e.g., for order confirmations

Registration of supplier invoices and customer orders in the accounting system

Communication with the warehouse, including regarding customer orders and product availability

Of course, you will not be left alone with the above tasks, and you can expect help and support from your colleagues. Similarly, you are expected to be ready to step in when colleagues need your assistance – in a small company like ours, it doesn't work otherwise, but being needed is hopefully only perceived as fun and stimulating by you.

Your Qualities

You are currently enrolled or have completed a high school program focused on technology, natural sciences, or economics, and you have good grades. You have experience with at least basic use of Microsoft Excel. It is advantageous but not a requirement to have prior experience in similar work – we will train you on-site.

You learn easily and have a good memory. You are meticulous in all tasks and have a good sense for numbers, mental arithmetic, and well-formulated text. Once you have learned a specific task, you try to perform it as time-efficiently as possible.

You are not hesitant to ask for help and advice when needed. You have a desire to contribute to the company's success, which means you try to see the bigger picture, do what you can to facilitate your colleagues' work, are willing to make suggestions for improvements, and point out mistakes you discover.

You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have a good ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written. You have a basic understanding of Danish.

You do not mind performing time-consuming administrative tasks, but you also enjoy having verbal and written contact with colleagues and customers.

KIDEK AB is located in the Filborna industrial area and primarily supplies stores in Sweden and Denmark with gift items and toys. We are a relatively small but growing family business that has been around for 17 years and we have just under ten employees.
