We are now recruiting an IT Architect for Enterprise to the IT and Security unit (ITS). With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic organization with an important mission that affects all citizens in our society.

Responsibilities

In the role of IT Architect for Enterprise, you will support the agency's operations regarding IT solutions, information systems, and technical requirements towards suppliers. You will work strategically with architecture from various perspectives, such as assignments, technology, and security. An important area is information, where a data-driven approach enables AI and service-oriented development of our services.

You will ensure that the organization derives high impact and value from its systems through a clear and overarching strategy for future functions and IT investments. You will also be responsible for balancing goals and means, ensuring that the agency maximizes the benefits from the invested funds. The agency's IT largely consists of Windows-based infrastructure.

You will have primary responsibility for driving progress in your area, but you will collaborate closely with an architect (consultant) responsible for software development within the agency. You will also work together with your colleagues in the unit you belong to, the IT and Security unit (ITS).

The role is new within the agency, and there will be opportunities to further develop the role depending on interest and competence. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the journey to develop our IT operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education or equivalent experience that the employer can assess as relevant. You have several years of experience working within Enterprise architecture or equivalent and have worked with architecture from multiple perspectives, such as technology and security. You have good knowledge of IT infrastructure and are familiar with data-driven approaches and AI technology. You have excellent skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have experience in a similar role in the public sector and working in a growing IT organization with outsourced IT operations. If you have certifications in IT architecture, this is also a merit.

The Position

The employment is a permanent full-time position. IMY applies a six-month probationary period. You will report to the IT and Security Manager who is part of one of the agency's management groups. The work is based in our pleasant activity-based premises centrally located in Stockholm with the possibility of individual agreements on hybrid work.

The position is classified in a security class, which means that Swedish citizenship is required for this position. A security screening with a background check will be conducted before we make a decision on employment.
