Värmdö Municipality, a meeting place of the archipelago with a unique combination of nature and urban life, is now looking for an engaged System Administrator for our unit for Digital Infrastructure.

About the role of System Administrator:
As a System Administrator, you are the link between operations and technology. Together with the group of other system administrators, which is now expanding, you have overall responsibility for the maintenance, management, decommissioning, and development of systems with a focus on dialogue with suppliers and operations. The daily work includes driving or participating in change work and working with quality assurance.
Your main responsibilities may include:
- Overall responsibility for management plans regarding maintenance, decommissioning, and development of systems.
- Drive or participate in change work and work with quality assurance.
- Contribute to the unit's continued work with management and development of working methods, routines, and processes.
- Collaborate with relevant system owners, business specialists, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that systems comply with decided IT security, are usable, current, relevant, and accessible to the operations.
- Monitor, prioritize, and escalate incidents as needed.
- Ensure that system documentation exists and is managed.
- Plan and prepare for the management of new systems.
- Manage supplier governance of IT management at tactical and operational levels.
Basic requirements for the role:
- Experience in IT management or as a System Administrator.
- Good ability to document work and ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Very good collaboration skills and a willingness to share your knowledge.
- Proactive and self-driven.
- Solution-oriented and contributes to our mission.
Meritorious for the role:
- Experience working in municipal operations.
- Experience working with support.
- Experience working with various municipal operational systems.
- Experience as a project manager or project work.
- Experience in supplier governance.
