About the Role

As a Cloud Engineer at Åhléns, you will be a key player in our IT team, where you, together with the team, are responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining our IT systems and cloud solutions. Together, we shape the future shopping experience and deliver value to our customers every day!

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage our cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Drive migrations to and from Azure, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining efficient operations of our systems, which is crucial for building a modern and secure workplace at Åhléns.
• Participate in the design, planning, maintenance, and implementation of solutions for Åhléns IaaS and PaaS platforms where Azure is central to ensuring a Modern Workplace environment.
• Along with the Cloud & Network Architect/Security Officer, manage cloud security and compliance (IAM).
• Support implementations for various cloud & on-prem solutions.
• Work on troubleshooting, incident management, and continuous improvement of our IT processes.

You will be part of our IT organization and the Security & Infra team of about 10 people. You will collaborate with Cyber Security, Cloud Engineers, and On-site Technicians to ensure consistent and secure solutions.

Who Are You?

To thrive with us in the role of Cloud Engineer, we see that you have a strong interest and ability to solve technical problems. You are proactive in your work and have good communication and collaboration skills. Furthermore, you bring:

• Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure with a focus on IaC.
• Experience leading migrations to and from Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins.
• Familiarity with backups, disaster recovery procedures, and Azure networking.
• Knowledge of security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, as well as security standards.
• Certifications in cloud platforms and networking are considered an advantage.
