Object Specialist for the Swedish National Agency for Education's Exam Platform

Are you driven by being a specialist in an IT system that is vital for an organization? We are looking for someone who is analytical and meticulous and wants to develop into the role of object specialist for the Swedish National Agency for Education's exam platform.

The platform is used for digital national tests and grading-supporting assessment tools by a very large number of users across Sweden. Join us in contributing to the future of education!

About the Job

The exam platform is a central part of the Swedish National Agency for Education's testing service. It was launched in 2024 and is used by students and school staff to conduct digital national tests and assessment support. Starting in 2025, it will be used on a large scale with over one million users per year. For more information, see the page How the Testing Service for Digital National Tests Works on skolverket.se.

The exam platform consists of modules for test construction, test execution, assessment, follow-up, and result management. Development of the exam platform is carried out by our supplier in the UK. The target groups for the exam platform are school authorities, school staff, and students, as well as higher education institutions that construct the tests.

We are looking for an object specialist to strengthen our team and support the operations in the daily management and further development of the exam platform. You will become an expert on the system's functions and how it is configured to support the organization's needs and processes. You will also contribute by analyzing how the organization's needs can be met by the system and provide expert knowledge before, during, and after the implementation of digital national tests and assessment support.

You will belong to the Unit for the Implementation of Digital National Tests, which has about ten employees. You will closely collaborate with, among others, the supplier of the exam platform, as well as requirement analysts and product owners at the Swedish National Agency for Education. Since the supplier is located in the UK, you will communicate in English.

Together with other object specialists for the exam platform, you will also conduct acceptance testing and staff second-line support.

“As an object specialist in the unit, you will become a specialist in one of Sweden's most used e-services. You will play an important role in both contributing to the development of the exam platform and providing support to our target groups.”
Marcello Marrone, Unit Manager

You will work in our modern and spacious office in Solna Business Park. You may also have the opportunity to work up to 50% remotely.
