Staff and Logistics Company

The Staff and Logistics Company is part of the 31st Air Base Battalion at the Helicopter Wing Malmen. The company consists of a company headquarters, command platoon, logistics platoon, supply platoon, and medical platoon. The main task of the company is to support the air base with command and logistics needs. The logistics platoon is responsible for the air base's external logistics while the supply platoon is responsible for the air base's internal logistics.

Main Responsibilities

As a field cook, your main task is to support the air base with catering. You will be part of a team responsible for the platoon's catering supplies. You will also assist other platoons in completing their tasks. The position includes cooking, standby duties, driving heavy trucks and trailers, material handling, maintaining soldier skills, and regular physical training.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Completed military service with a passing result or ongoing military service with a good prognosis at the time of recruitment
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Category B driver's license
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Meets the Swedish Armed Forces' physical requirements

Personal Attributes

As a field cook, you have an important role in enhancing the battalion's combat readiness. It is crucial that you have a positive attitude, are service-oriented, and good at organizing your work. Personal suitability for the position will be highly valued.
