The Special Helicopter Group (SHG) is a special operations unit within the Swedish Armed Forces' special operations system (FMSF), located at the Helicopter Wing in Linköping. SHG's primary tasks are tactical transport, intelligence gathering, and air support. Like other units within FMSF, SHG has high demands for availability among specially selected personnel, with extensive operational experience and high levels of training and competence.
About the Position
As an AMMUNITION SOLDIER at SHG, you will be part of the unit's staff and logistics platoon at the base company. The base company includes several supporting functions, including security, communication/IT, logistics, and fuel.

Much of the work will be carried out independently or in very small units. You will support the entire unit both at the base and out in the field. In the long run, you will have the opportunity to help drive and develop the combat unit within your own function as well as in other areas, and we encourage you to apply for specialist officer training.
Main Responsibilities
- Be part of the unit's logistics function and, as part of a group, solve a wide range of logistical tasks with special competence in ammunition.
- Contribute to the development of the combat unit, your own company, and your own function.
Several other tasks will be added, and the work places very high demands on your initiative, problem-solving ability, and willingness to see and understand what needs to be done to develop the function's working methodology. The position involves maintaining readiness for national and international operations, sometimes with short notice.
