Personal Assistant Wanted (Hourly Employment)

I am currently looking for a personal assistant on an hourly basis, starting from mid-August. For the right candidate, some fixed shifts per week and work every third weekend may be offered. Experience with awake night shifts is a plus. This position is well-suited to be combined with studies, for example.

Responsibilities

The role involves supporting me with both basic and daily needs, such as:

• Mobility and personal care (e.g., in bed, showering, and dressing)
• Household chores, such as cleaning and cooking
• Care for my cat

You will also accompany me in my daily life, which includes work, social activities, and leisure interests.

About Me

I work full-time and lead an active lifestyle. As a person, I am calm, clear, and appreciate structure, efficiency, and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills

I place great emphasis on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you should:

• Be physically strong and able to assist with mobility (up to approx. 70 kg when no aids are available)
• Be attentive, responsible, and able to follow instructions
• Work independently and professionally
• Have a calm personality and be comfortable in quieter work environments
• Be able to communicate fluently in Swedish or English
• Have the ability to handle wheelchairs (manual and electric) as well as various assistive devices

Experience in personal assistance is an advantage but not a requirement.

Other Requirements

• You must not be allergic to or afraid of cats
• You are expected to accompany me to activities and act professionally in various environments
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required for any interview
• Upon employment, you are expected to get vaccinated annually against seasonal influenza and Covid-19
