We are now looking for personal assistants for respiratory care assignments in Täby.

About the job as a personal assistant

We are now looking for you who want to develop within the assistance profession and at the same time make a difference by contributing to the best possible quality of life for our customer who is neurologically ill and therefore cared for with respiratory support at home.

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. Your workplace is where the customer is located and your tasks generally involve assisting the customer so that the customer has the conditions to live the life they desire.

Tasks

The tasks involve taking care of basic hygiene routines, handling tracheostomy tubes, changing and cleaning, suctioning airways, handling home ventilators, medication, tube feeding, and nursing care, etc.

We are looking for you who:

You need to have empathy and understanding for what this type of need for help entails when it comes to contributing to the best possible quality of life for the customer, as well as contributing to an atmosphere and environment where the customer and family can feel calm and secure. You are a team player and can collaborate with all colleagues to achieve the goal of the assignment.

Previous experience is a plus, but we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

You will be introduced to and trained at the National Respiratory Centre at Danderyd Hospital. You need to understand and master Swedish unimpeded in speech and writing.

About the employment

The employment is a fixed-term employment with an hourly wage. Working hours are scheduled 8-15 and 15-22, weekdays as well as weekends, you always work together with a colleague.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the collective agreement Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
