Your Role

The Intake, Assessment, and Follow-up Unit consists of 34 social secretaries, five senior social secretaries, five group leaders, and two group managers. Group managers Kenny Johansson and Johanna Lundqvist lead the work together with the group leaders, focusing strongly on working environment, development, and quality – with the conviction that good conditions for employees provide the best possible support for the children and young people we serve.

Here, you will receive close support from group leaders in your daily work, and the senior social secretaries contribute valuable experience in complex cases. Each group leader has a team of approximately 6–8 social secretaries.

You will work as a social secretary in a unit characterized by development, systematic quality work, and a strong child perspective. Leadership and teamwork in the group are characterized by trust and clarity.

In the role of social secretary, you will:

• Work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). Investigate and assess cases concerning children and young people according to BBIC.
• Collaborate with the child's network as well as internal and external partners.
• Make decisions and follow up on approved measures.
• Independently manage the entire case process.
• Create participation for children and young people through close collaboration with their networks.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work degree).
• Several years of experience in authority-based work with children and young people.
• Good ability to document and express yourself well in speech and writing.
• Experience working according to BBIC.
