What we do and want

The goals of the administration are primarily to increase children's participation, development, and further training in the area of violence exposure, as well as to implement the "Signs of Safety" approach to increase transparency and collaboration across units.

Within our administration, everyone helps each other, and there is a genuine desire to collaborate across unit boundaries. Those of us who work here always have the individual in focus and collaborate to achieve the best results.

The Employment and Social Administration is organized into 11 units, each led by its own unit manager. The administration is led by a joint management team consisting of the Director and the Deputy Director. The units within Children and Youth are responsible for reception, investigation, family care, and family law, as well as the resource units which constitute the municipality's own outpatient care.

We are now looking for a Resource Social Worker for assignments within the Children and Youth area. The assignment primarily involves authority functions (case processing).

About the position

The assignment as a Resource Social Worker is to staff operations within the administration's authority sections where there is a need for personnel. Our Resource Social Workers thus get the opportunity to try out different parts of the social services' areas within Children and Youth.

As a Resource Social Worker, you belong to the administration support, and your nearest responsible manager is the Department Manager.

You are a colleague in the administration who, with your experience and competence, actively works with methods based on evidence and experience. You get the opportunity to be part of the collegial learning in the administration, contribute with your competence and experience, and participate in and develop existing working methods in the municipality.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a social work degree and at least five years of experience working with qualified investigations within the social services.

You are well acquainted with BBIC and Signs of Safety, and are up-to-date and knowledgeable regarding current legislation in the area. We would appreciate it if you had knowledge-based education in areas relevant to the field, for example, structured assessment instruments to detect violence, risk of reoffending in crime, and similar.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability and the following qualities:

• You are stable and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently.
• You have a good ability to work with complex issues and find it easy to express yourself clearly in speech and writing.
• You are flexible and see it as positive to get involved in and familiarize yourself with the different units' ways of working and methods.
• The role is consultative, and it is important that you have a good attitude towards people, very good collaboration skills, and find it easy to make contacts.
• You are personally interested in wanting to develop yourself as well as contribute to the development of others.
