I am a 23-year-old social guy who likes to have fun. I am looking for an initiative-taking, creative, and reliable hourly assistant!

This is me:

• I live with my family in Älvsjö – it is easy to get here by commuter train and a short bus ride.
• I have many interests – including bowling, cinema, concerts, swimming, meeting friends, and playing guitar.
• On weekdays, I attend day activities where I make music and engage in interest-political issues.
• I need support with most things in daily life – for example, with communication, eating, moving around, and driving my power wheelchair.
• I have epilepsy – but it doesn't stop me from living an active life! If you are resourceful and can think on your feet, we will always find solutions!

Is this you?

• You are a complete non-smoker (super important!).
• You like variety and are resourceful.
• You are meticulous and have an easy time communicating.
• You like to be active and have fun – just like me!
• Do you have experience with epilepsy? Great – but not a requirement!
• You are flexible and can adapt when plans change without getting stressed.
• You don't need to have worked as a personal assistant before – the most important thing is that we click!

Can you help me with:

• Moving, driving my power wheelchair, and being a support in daily routines such as meals and personal care.
• Being an important part of my life and making daily life work in my way – I need help with most things to be able to live my life as I want!
• Allowing me to live the active and social life I want by coming up with ideas, planning, and communicating to keep in touch with friends and family.

The service I can offer right now is extra as needed with the possibility of fixed weekend shifts. You should be able to work at least every other weekend. There will also be drop-ins on weekdays if someone in the team is absent. My assistants usually work 13-hour shifts, so you need to be able to work both days and evenings.

With me, you get a long and comprehensive introduction by a skilled assistant who knows me well – we both need to feel safe before we set off on adventures together!

About the recruitment process: We are in continuous contact with interesting candidates, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
