Axonaskolan in Tollarp is a grades F-9 school with approximately 170 students. As a school counselor/support staff member here, you will play an important role for our students while having the opportunity to work with the school leadership and your colleagues to develop the school. Axonaskolan is part of Edukatus Alliance, where we actively work with various networks between our schools to learn from and with each other, generously sharing our knowledge and experiences characterized by collegial exchange and collaboration. We have the courage to constantly challenge ourselves and develop our teaching.

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible student assistant for our school. As a student assistant, you work closely with the student during the school day and contribute to creating safety, structure, and good conditions for learning and participation.

You support the student in teaching situations, during transitions, and in social contexts, always with the goal of strengthening the student's independence and participation in school life.

The work takes place in close collaboration with teachers, school health services, and guardians.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pedagogical and practical support in teaching
  • Adapt and make materials accessible based on the student's needs
  • Contribute to safety and participation during breaks and other activities
  • Collaborate with school staff regarding planning and follow-up

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a calm, safe, and respectful approach
  • Is sensitive, responsible, and flexible
  • Has good collaboration skills but can also work independently
  • Has an interest in or experience working with children and students in need of special support
  • Has the ability to adapt your working method to the students' individual needs, prerequisites, and daily condition.

Employment

The position is 85% with the possibility of full-time, starting August 17th or as agreed.
