About the role and your responsibilities

In your role as a student assistant at Backaskolan, you will work specifically with a student with autism.

As a student assistant, you will help the student plan and structure their school day. Furthermore, you will support the student by working with good foresight and planning. The assignment also includes writing instructions and using visual aids.

Close contact with the student's guardians is an important part of the assignment, which may also involve contact with other activities outside of school.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone with experience working as a student assistant in primary school, preferably in a similar role directed towards students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPD). Additionally, the role requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You are a flexible person with a positive attitude, easy to collaborate with, and sensitive to the needs of others. Furthermore, you enjoy taking initiative and can quickly adapt to different routines. We value that you are dedicated, structured, and communicative.

About the workplace

Backaskolan is a preschool class to grade 3 school (F-3) with approximately 270 students located in Norra Fäladen, Lund. The school has a fantastic outdoor environment at the foot of Sankt Hans backar, and during our operations, we utilize this outdoor environment with our eco-bases. We are looking for you, who with your competence and engagement, want and can contribute to the school's development. You will have an important role in close collaboration with engaged staff and wonderful students.
