As a Junior Land Negotiator, you will grow into the role of Land Negotiator by initially supporting more experienced colleagues and independently handling smaller cases and projects. As a Land Negotiator, you are involved in the entire chain from planning, design, construction phase to the handover of the completed facility. It is a varied role with responsibility for land access issues, which includes among other things:

• Negotiating compensation for the purchase of and encroachment on properties
• Drafting property law agreements
• Handling damage regulation/disputes
• Participating in planning and design work
• Representing Trafikverket in cadastral proceedings as well as other contacts with authorities and individual property owners

The work sometimes involves meetings outside office hours, such as public consultation meetings, landowner meetings, and cadastral meetings.

Here, you have good development opportunities where we see that within a few years you will take on a Land Negotiator role and independently provide support in property law issues in infrastructure projects.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are at the beginning of your career in the field and who want to work with and deepen your competence in property law issues. The work involves many contacts with landowners, the public, and other stakeholders, both within and outside Trafikverket. To succeed in the role, you therefore have very good communication skills. You convey messages in a clear and simple way and adapt your communication to the recipient and situation.

You also have good analytical problem-solving skills and can analyze issues from several perspectives to contribute to well-founded solutions. Since the work is carried out in close collaboration with others, you also have good teamwork skills and contribute to a constructive collaboration.

Furthermore, you are proactive and self-reliant, take responsibility for your tasks, and see what needs to be done. You also work in a structured way and plan your work efficiently.

We are looking for you who

• have a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120 credits) in surveying/civil engineering or a law degree with a focus on property law from 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026
• have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• have a driver's license for a passenger car

It is meritorious if you

• have some years of current and relevant work experience in property law, or alternatively other experience that Trafikverket assesses as equivalent

In this recruitment, web-based tests are used as part of the selection process. We plan to hold interviews (digital or on-site) during weeks 36-37. Due to holiday periods, it will take until the end of week 34 before we can give further updates in the recruitment process.

The position is located in Solna. Do you want a flexible daily life with the possibility to work from home? In this role, after a while, you may have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days a week.
