Do you want to build the next generation data platform at a market-leading software company in iGaming? At our client's company, you will have great freedom to influence the architecture and work with AI solutions in an innovative environment focused on developing and future-proofing their data platform.

About the role

Our client is a market-leading player developing high-performance platforms and systems for the global iGaming industry. They started with a focus on poker but now also offer a comprehensive casino platform. By licensing their products, they provide their partners with the tools needed to build, innovate, and succeed in their own markets.

We are now recruiting a Data Engineer for the growing Data & Insights team, where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the technical infrastructure and transform raw data into reliable business value. You will combine operational work in existing environments with long-term responsibility for architecture, pipelines, and data models as the business expands globally.

They are a company that prioritizes work-life balance, community, and cohesion through team events, international conferences, and enjoyable corporate meetings.
  • An exciting opportunity to genuinely contribute to their data management and infrastructure. Since their customers are located in various global regions with diverse hosting solutions, you will have the chance to tackle advanced multi-cloud and multi-tenant environments and solve how to collect and integrate data in a smart, cost-effective, and optimal way.
  • The opportunity to work at a workplace offering hybrid work in central Stockholm (3 days in the office and 2 days from home), a favorable bonus system, 6 weeks of vacation, and a shorter work week during June, July, and August with free Fridays.

  • Explore and develop AI-driven tools

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a couple of years of work experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar technical role
  • Has a good understanding of performance optimization, data flows, and data solutions
  • Has advanced skills in SQL
  • Has experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or similar

  • Experience handling large transaction volumes
  • Experience with the AWS ecosystem such as Redshift

  • Interest and experience in integrating AI tools and agents into daily data work

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • Adaptable

  • Responsible
