We are now looking for an engaged psychologist for a maternity leave position of at least one year within the outpatient care of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Hässleholm. About the Department
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Hässleholm offers traditional outpatient care as the foundation of clinical operations, as well as infant services and access to intermediate care measures based in Kristianstad. The operations are conducted in cross-professional teams with broad competence, and we have also established functional teams focused on specific problem areas.
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) outpatient care provides assessment, treatment, and investigation for children/young people and their families in Hässleholm, Perstorp, and Osby municipalities. Our team consists of approximately 30 employees in various professional categories such as psychologists, doctors, social workers, occupational therapists, nurses, and medical secretaries. We have a creative and positive work climate where we care for each other.
Responsibilities
1 position.
As a psychologist, your work involves assessments, investigations, and providing treatment to children and young people up to 18 years old. The role also includes collaboration with care partners, such as schools and social services. You will work both independently and in collaboration with other team members. Travel within the scope of work may occur.
Depending on your background and competence, there may be good opportunities for further development through training based on the department's needs.
Please note that this is a maternity leave position for at least 1 year.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. As travel is part of the job, a valid B driver's license is required.
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- CBT Step 1.
- Experience working with DBT.
- Experience conducting neuropsychiatric investigations.
- Knowledge of the Melior journal system is seen as an advantage.
- Experience working with children/young people and families.
- Multicultural experience base and knowledge of multiple languages.
- Experience working with infants and young children.
- Experience investigating infants and young children aged 0-6.
