At the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Kristianstad, we work in a cross-professional team centered around the patient. The team consists of ICU nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and physiotherapists. We strive for everyone to work according to their professional role and competence, with the patient's best interests as the focus. Around 35 ICU nurses, 45 nursing assistants, 30 doctors, and one physiotherapist work here. The Intensive Care Unit has seven beds and admits approximately 600 patients each year. We actively follow up on care after intensive treatment and have a well-functioning mobile intensive care group (MIG operation).

Qualified intensive care is provided at the ICU in Kristianstad, where critically ill patients receive advanced care. We treat patients of all ages and from all medical specialties, making the work varied and inspiring. Patients are treated here for trauma, cardiac arrest, severe infections, septic shock, and multi-organ failure. The operation is high-tech, resource-intensive, and only a small percentage is planned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for more specialized nurses in intensive care.

On the ward, we always strive to provide the highest quality of care. Here, you will be offered individually adapted induction with experienced colleagues as support. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare and who have specialized education in intensive care. Proficiency in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is also a requirement for the position. Previous experience in intensive care is considered an advantage.

We are looking for you who have good organizational skills, a holistic perspective, and who can prioritize your work independently when an acute situation arises. For us, it is self-evident that you are careful in your nursing role, that you take care of patients according to their different needs, and give them good treatment.
