At Vårdcentralen Tornet, approximately 34 dedicated employees work together to care for around 7,600 registered patients. We have a broad range of competencies, including specialists in general practice, ST and AT doctors, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Together, we strive to offer our patients safe and person-centered care.

Our operations include several specialized clinics, including an acute line, asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, and smoking cessation. We also have a family center with a Child Health Center (BVC), which allows us to offer support and care for the whole family. We also have social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. We work in cross-professional teams that hold rounds once a week where we review patient cases together.

Job Description

As a Team Leader Nurse, you combine clinical work with operational responsibility for the daily operations of both the nursing group and the nursing assistant group. You will be one of two team leaders at the health center and work closely with the operations manager. The other team leader is responsible for the daily operations within the rehab group and the medical group, which creates good conditions for close collaboration and a well-functioning operation.

The role includes standard tasks for a nurse in primary care, such as telephone advice, triage, clinic work, and work within our elderly care clinic. You meet patients with varying care needs and work both independently and in close collaboration with other professions.

In addition to clinical work, you are responsible for coordinating and planning the daily work for nurses and nursing assistants, providing support to colleagues, and introducing new employees. You will also be an important part of the operation's development and improvement work and contribute together with the operations manager, the other team leader, and other professions to a well-functioning operation.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Even you who are a district nurse are warmly welcome to apply for the position. Knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. For the position, we would like you to have experience working in primary care. It is meritorious if you have previously had a coordinating or supervisory role.

You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and create engagement in the work group. Furthermore, you are communicative, have a professional approach, and value close collaboration with both colleagues and other professions.
